A high performance, cost-effective, user-friendly 200 L microbe brewer for both aerobic and anaerobic multiplication. NTS have researched and designed the ultimate microbe brew equipment for smaller scale brews. The Brewstar 200™ Complete Dual Purpose Brewing Station generates ideal dissolved oxygen for optimum proliferation of beneficial microbiology, and is perfect for growers requiring brews between 100 - 200 L.

  • The Brewstar 200™ Complete Dual Purpose Brewing Station is an NTS-designed and fully-assembled brewer for consistent, high-quality microbe brews.
  • Ideal for market gardeners, golf courses, landscapers and smaller scale operations.
  • Suitable for brew volumes between 100 - 200 L.
  • Versatile design suitable for brewing task-specific microbe inoculums (see NTS Microbial Products), compost tea, vermicompost tea or anaerobic brews.
  • Complete brewing station including pump.

Pump Specifications:
Power: 100 W
Flow Rate: 140 L/min

When to Recommend: For small scale agricultural systems when 100 - 200 L of microbe brew is required in a single application. Whenever soil-life needs boosting (in a majority of soils).

1. Position air pump beside tank, 30 cm above water line.
2. Remove packing tape from barrel union O-rings and discard (tape for transportation only).
3. Connect the air diffuser to the drum via the two barrel unions (hand tight).
4. Attach supplied clear hose with supplied hose clamps to the tank inlet and the air pump outlet.

When using potentially contaminated water sources (e.g. dam water) treat water first using bleach (4% available chlorine) at a rate of 50 mL per 100 L of water. Proportional amounts of bleach will be required if the available chlorine % varies. Aerate for at least one (1) hour, until the smell of chlorine dissipates.
Aerobic Brew: With the pump turned on, add microbe food, Dominate-B™/Dominate-F™ (if required) and then microbial inoculum – refer to inoculums for specific brewing instructions, including required temperature and brew duration. Drum lid is not required during aerobic brewing.
Anaerobic Brew:The Brewstar 200™ is supplied with an air-tight lid and is also suitable for anaerobic brewing.

a) At the end of the brewing process: Rinse all surfaces including the inside of the diffuser pipes (easily removed by undoing the two PVC barrel unions). Be careful not to dislodge the barrel union O-rings when cleaning. Apply Path-X™ as a spray at a dilution of 1:100 (10 mL to 1 L of water) to all brewing surfaces and allow at least 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly and allowing to dry in storage.
b) If doing more than one brew consecutively: Rinse all surfaces with water and wipe down brewing surfaces between brews.
