Wood vinegar is the smoke condensate collected during the manufacture of Biochar. It contains a vast array of bioactive compounds, including acetic acid (hence the name).

Research has demonstrated a plethora of benefits from this phytochemical concentrate, including enhanced pest resistance, plant growth promotion, and soil life stimulation. In fact, wood vinegar is destined to become an essential tool in the progressive, regenerative approach.

Activated Char Condensate (ACC), from NTS, represents a genuine breakthrough in wood vinegar formulation. Many studies suggest a synergy between wood vinegar and Biochar, and this potent liquid is the first product capitalizing on that synergy. The rich dark hues relate to the presence of Biochar nano particles.

The term “activated” relates to the addition of a substance called LipoZoom. This is the first time that the liposomal technology, which promotes unparalleled nutrient delivery in human supplements, has been applied in agriculture.

ACC can be used in the soil, as a foliar application, or as a remarkable seed treatment. We trust you will be truly impressed.

Application Rates

Horticulture

FOLIAR SPRAY RATE
0.5 L per 100 L water up to 5 L/ha equivalent

FERTIGATION RATE
5 L to 10 L per hectare

Note: ACC™ can be added to all foliar fertilisers to magnify response, but always ensure compatibility.

Broadacre Crops
FOLIAR SPRAY RATE
300mL to 1 L per 100 L of water (i.e. 0.3% to 1%)

LIQUID INJECTION
500 mL to 1 L per hectare

SEED TREATMENT
Dilute at 1:100 and apply to seed at 10 L per tonne of seed. A great seed treatment inclusion is Tri-Kelp at 50 g per 10 L, per tonne of seed, dissolved into the 1:100 dilution of ACC

Pasture and Turf
FOLIAR SPRAY RATE
1 L per 100 L water

FERTIGATION RATE
5 L to 10 L per hectare

FREQUENCY
Include with all nutrient foliar sprays (confirm compatibility)
Compost Accelerant
RATE: 1L per 100 L water applied to the compost, during construction of the heap, or during watering.

Shake or stir well before use. Where higher water rates are required for good foliar coverage, do not exceed maximum product rate per hectare. Sensitive foliage or plants should be test sprayed prior to full scale application. Frequencies are a guideline only and can be adjusted according to farm practices and/or in conjunction with crop monitoring. Ensure suitable spray conditions (e.g. temperature, humidity, wind-speed), prior to foliar application. Compatibility and/or performance cannot be guaranteed when combining with other products (including various herbicide formulations). Jar test for compatibility and spray on a small area before widespread application. Avoid spraying close to harvest if produce is susceptible to staining.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapour or mist. Keep away from sources of ignition – No smoking. Take measures to prevent the build up of electrostatic charge. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

It is possible to create a phytotoxic reaction if pyroligneous acid products are applied in concentrated form. Do not exceed 1:100 concentration. Keep away from heat, hot surface, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No Smoking. Wear eye/face protection and protective gloves. Do not breath vapor after opening. Additional information is listed in the Safety Data Sheet. Read safety directions before use. Store in a cool dry area out of direct sunlight. Do not pre-mix or store in diluted form. Seal lid/cap immediately after use.
